The VideoAmp People Team is looking for a Vice President of Engagement & Experience who will be responsible for cultivating the culture, engagement and productivity of employees throughout the entire employee experience lifecycle. As a Vice President, you are passionate about all things data and tech, and have extensive knowledge and personal curiosity around the digital media space. You are accomplished in the areas of discovering new ways to help people improve their holistic wellbeing and designing programs that further people’s passions to drive business success. You are curious about all “next and best” workplace innovations that help people grow including the spaces we gather in together. This includes the introduction of a hybrid workplace and wellness centers in HQ locations. As a visionary and thought-leader, you are also hands-on in facilitation, UX, delivery and in-person interaction with all people and executive leaders alike. Most of all, you are ready to influence and support the strategic objectives of a highly cross-functional organization. This role oversees a growing team, reports to the Chief People Officer and is based at VideoAmp HQ in Santa Monica, CA.

Due to the implications of COVID-19, this role is virtually based and our organization is committed to prioritizing your health and safety through these unprecedented times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and define employee experience engagement and wellbeing plan, including key results and deliverables, in partnership with CPO
  • Bring a creative and innovative approach to embed learning and growth solutions at every stage of the talent lifecycle
  • Partner with talent acquisition, learning & org development, talent advisory and workplace leadership
  • Build holistic wellness programs that prioritize physical, mental, financial and social development in a thriving environment conducive to people bringing all experiences to life at VideoAmp
  • Attract, develop and retain a team of top talent that embodies the VideoAmp values and is hyper creative to instill next-generation experiences
  • Work with virtually every department at the company and support various teams to effectively align culture-building and developmental activities that help the company continue to grow and actively listen through focus groups, surveys and other mechanisms to design needle-moving investments
  • Plan and oversee the build-out of workspace and wellness centers for employees and clients in HQ locations, including programming, staffing and menu of services offered
  • Design and deliver engagement programs across all VideoAmp locations that embed our core values, mission and vision
  • Establish community-driven practices to foster a culture of belonging, alumni connections, mentorship, sponsorship and other interactions to further culture of inclusion
  • Benchmark and join future of work communities in order to learn from and shape people product industry trends
  • Implement experiences and mechanisms to further company-wide communication and collaboration in both in-person and virtual settings through spot-lights and employee recognition programs
  • Vendor identification and oversight for onsite workplace management resources (onsite security, nutrition, valet, laundry, etc.); Instill a minority-owned business vendors selection program in partnership with the Finance team
  • Measure everything that matters in order to use data to inform strategy and holistic experiences
  • Provide superior hospitality to leaders and employees to constantly raise the bar of employee programs and work environment
  • Serve as a trusted member of the People team and ambassador of the organization

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 12+ years of experience leading wellness, employee experience and/or culture efforts at leading organizations
  • 5+ years of program management experience
  • 5+ years of individual wellness, career and development coaching experience
  • 5+ years of DEIB experience building an empowered, collaborative workplace that celebrates differences and attracts people of all backgrounds
  • Oversight of internal communications experience with look-book available for review
  • Experience making data-driven decisions and influencing through data insights and analytics
  • Certifications in leading-edge human capital assessment tools, a plus (e.g. Korn Ferry / Lominger, DiSC, Firo-B, Emergenetics, MBTI, CCL and/or NeuroLeadership Institute methodologies, etc.)
  • Proven partnership with both tech and non-tech functional leaders in addition to fostering close collaboration with People team subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • College degree required with a focus in the areas of business, human resources or industrial/organizational design preferred
