VP, Account Management, National Account Sales

Job Overview

We are looking for a VP, Account Management to lead our Account Management and Sales Planning team within National Account Sales. Candidates should be well versed in all aspects of pre and post-sales processes for agency-focused digital media & measurement. At VideoAmp, we’re redefining how media is valued, bought, and sold and this position will help further solidify our highly consultative, client-focused approach to insights, analytics, and outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set strategy, policies, priorities, and best practices for a national sales planning and account management team.
  • Lead with an optimistic client-first strategy that delivers solutions not just products and actionable insights to drive outcomes.
  • Ensure balanced staffing plan, workload, and relationship alignment between sales planners, account managers, and sales.
  • Create and conduct new hire training and onboarding.
  • Create career pathing and a constructive environment for development.
  • Collect regular feedback from sales leadership to evaluate team and individual performance against goals.
  • Own and cultivate senior-level relationships at agencies to not only support your team’s tactical work but to secure long-term strategic business.
  • Develop new templates, formats, processes, formulas as needed.
  • Design playbooks and strategies for renewals and expansion based on proven success with existing clients.
  • Collaborate with Product to prioritize updates and features that will lead to greater success, growth, and retention of the current client base.
  • Run a weekly meeting with the team, reporting on performance and KPIs. Also, participate in the National Account Sales Meeting to share metrics.
  • Ensure we deliver an exceptional customer experience at every company touchpoint - from first engagement to post-campaign reporting.
  • Work collaboratively within Account Sales leadership, Strategy, COMs team, and Legal to identify challenges, propose solutions and activate change where necessary.
  • Cultivate a team culture that is congenial, empathetic, full of passion for their work, with an insatiable will to win.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of experience in leading customer-facing organizations.
  • 5+ years - Ad-tech, TV, OTT, Digital AND/OR Linear experience • Strong reputation and experience with ad tech and SaaS.
  • Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.
  • Ideally combined background of pre-sales and post-sales w/ quotas.
  • Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models.
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset.
  • Familiar with advanced media measurement concepts and platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • An enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others.
