Data Governance Analyst

Within Finance Shared Services you will join the Data Governance Office team composed of highly motivated data specialists and focused on following 3 main missions:

- Drive the design of the functional data model (in particular: Client, Product, etc) with an optimal balance between process efficiency, BU specificities vs. Core model, business model evolutions and company reporting requirements
- Define and implement a data governance framework where principles, policies, roles and responsibilities for data stakeholders are defined and contribute to maximize business outcomes, operational efficiency, data quality and access to insights
- Operate data governance performing key actions such as keep critical data dictionary and their ownership up to date, produce regular data quality scorecards and coordinate cleaning actions.

What you will do :

• Implement and enforce the data governance policies for data in your scope:
• Be the main point of contact of any team (End-users, Project Managers, IT, Reporting, Change Management, etc) working on data of your perimeter and advocate them on the importance on data management
• On behalf to data owners maintain data catalog documenting business definitions, quality criteria, visibility rules to the system, etc
• Assess the current state of the data fidelity (e.g., quality and consistency) of your perimeter compared to the governance policies and propose action plan in order to ensure that target goal is achieved
• Monitor and track ongoing data fidelity levels and other metrics that assess the adherence of data and people to data governance policies
• Automate quality controls using modern Data visualization tools like Power BI and to ensure that data state is accessible from any data users
• Define processes and coordinate teams in order to solve data issues (Users, IT, Subject Matter Experts and Data quality clerks when data can’t be mass recovered) in an efficient manner
• Document data maintenance processes and follow their execution
• Provide input into the data governance lead for improvements in the work of governance and stewardship.

Who you are :

• MS degree in Engineering, Business or a related degree
• 3-5 years proven working experience as data stewards or data analyst
• Good experience in project Management
• You demonstrate a good expertise in Data analysis techniques: SQL, Data Modeling, Building of report in one of the following package: Tableau, QlikSense or PowerBI.
• Good knowledge of one of the following functional domains: CRM, Billing, Accounting or Company reporting
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving mind-set as well as Facilitation and conflict resolution skills
• Good communication with people at all levels (from clerical position to management)
• Ability to influence peers to modify behaviors
• Fluent in English
