Job Overview

Blockthrough is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director of Business Development to spearhead our North American sales efforts. Supported by our marketing team, you will be responsible for sourcing and closing new publisher business amongst the ComScore-1000 and will be expected to be the largest contributor to the company’s new revenue for 2021.

What you'll do

Build and grow outbound relationships with publisher clients
Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals
Lead the entire sales process from prospecting, negotiation to close
Creatively solve problems and remove barriers to close deals and accelerate the sales cycle
Identify opportunities, prospect, and engage new clients to land new business

What you'll need

Deep knowledge of the adtech and online publishing industries
8+ years of work experience with 4+ years successful track record selling to online publishers
Strong ability to work with (and sell to) both tier-1 and mid-tail publishers
Self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills
Skilled in full-cycle selling, from generating leads to negotiations and driving deals to a close
Able to adjust quickly to an adapting and evolving industry
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Ability to learn, take charge and deliver results with minimal supervision
High energy, self-motivated and passionate about working in a fast-paced startup environment
