Job Overview

Outbrain is seeking a highly motivated, relationship-focused Business Development Manager to focus on our Supply and Demand Programmatic Ecosystem. Our Global Programmatic team is made up of forward-thinking people who initiate and oversee relationships with various DSPs/SSPs.

The Role

We’re looking for a business savvy thinker with an analytical mindset and an interest in new technology. You will work closely with new audience segments to develop the Supply and Demand side of our business. Our ideal candidate will have strong business development experience ideally within a digital environment supported by exemplary relationship management skills. As our new Programmatic Business Development Manager, you will take full ownership of your Programmatic network in Europe and APAC, working alongside the account management Programmatic team and you will be responsible for the long-term growth of both existing and prospective clients.

Your responsibilities:

  • Establish long-term profitable business relationships with DSPs/SSPs/3rd party vendors in Europe and APAC

  • Find new growth opportunities and close deals with both new Programmatic DSPs/SSPs/3rd party vendors.

  • Team up with the Account Management Team to deliver the best of our monetization and recommendation solutions to our Programmatic clients according to their needs

  • Work closely with our technical team to make sure our solutions can support new DSPs/SSPs/3rd party vendors solutions.

  • Forecast our growth and identify our needs, working closely with our Finance Team

  • Negotiate complex distribution contracts with clients, alongside our Legal team support

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 5 years+ experience in online video, display and native advertising formats and a strong programmatic knowledge

  • You are a modelling and forecasting expert and understand the numbers

  • Experience in identifying trends in data and in generated reports

  • Exposure to working on/with the supply and demand side digital media industry

  • Solid understanding of digital technologies/site monetization and ability to explain product benefits in detail

  • Outstanding interpersonal, presentation and sales skills. Excellent relationship building abilities and experience in contract negotiations
