The Web team power commercial and operational teams with reliable platform supporting them in their everyday work in a constantly evolving, multi-product eco-system.

What you'll do

  • Plan, design and develop backend architectures built in Laravel.
  • Define the architecture and communicate to stakeholders accordingly.
  • Nurture and support more junior profiles within the team.
  • Write clean, efficient, and secure PHP code.
  • Proactively identify potential pitfalls in proposed software designs.
  • Maintain and support business-critical systems.
  • Ship code to production using CI/CD techniques.
  • Make technical and design decisions for Laravel projects.
  • Develop application code and unit tests.
  • Conduct performance tests.
  • Consult with the design team.
  • Ensure high performance of applications and providing support.
  • Work in an Agile environment and help lead SCRUM initiatives.

Who you are

  • +4 years of working experience as a full-stack PHP Developer preferably in Laravel.
  • BS/MS in Software Engineering or related field (equivalent experience may be acceptable).
  • Superior understanding of core PHP, SQL & JavaScript.
  • Strong expertise with HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
  • Understand SOLID principles and know how to apply them to deliver clean code.
  • Experience with RESTful services.
  • Expert in GIT, experience with giving constructive code review.
  • Familiar with testing frameworks (Ex. PHPUnit).
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Know how to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Able to mentor and assist peers on technical challenges.

Bonus

  • Thorough understanding of Chef, Jenkins and shell scripting highly desired.
  • Know your way around Docker and Linux server environments.
  • UX/UI sensitivity.
  • Have worked with Gerrit (GIT code review process).
  • Experience programming in other languages (Python, Ruby or C#).
