Job Overview

The Marketing & Strategic Planning Group at IPONWEB is broadly responsible for the Marketing, Strategy, and Innovation functions across IPONWEB’s portfolio of businesses and product offerings, which include BidSwitchBidCore, and The MediaGrid. We are currently looking for a Product Marketing Manager to support IPONWEB’s Demand-side offerings by acting as a champion for new innovations and bringing the voice of the customer into all messaging, go-to-market activity, and ongoing product evolution. In this role, you will be responsible for evangelizing our products to internal and external stakeholders to drive demand, accelerate adoption, and ensure customer happiness. You will work cross-functionally to articulate our product positioning and competitive advantage, conduct valuable market and customer research, enable seller and customer success, and execute innovative marketing programs to achieve revenue targets.

Successful candidates should enjoy working cross-functionally and be comfortable interacting with and gathering feedback directly from clients. They should also be detail-oriented and organised, capable of handling multiple projects across more than one business or product line. A solid understanding of the digital and/or programmatic advertising landscape is a plus.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be the product and customer expert within the organization; own all product positioning and messaging based on your understanding of target customer needs and triggers
  • Create sales and client-facing materials to support product knowledge and accelerate adoption, including product FAQs, case studies, documentation, and how-tos
  • Develop and oversee go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature releases; including internal/external communications, training, and promotional support
  • Oversee internal training for client success and sales teams for the products you support
  • Gather, distill and share customer and seller feedback, along with market and competitive intelligence, with product teams to influence product roadmap
  • Define and evolve buyer personas, including their pain points, buying process, and criteria, and transfer that knowledge to product and sales team

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, education, or other relevant field of study
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 2 years spent in a market-facing role, preferably serving customers in the digital advertising space
  • Intimate knowledge of digital advertising, ad tech, or the programmatic ecosystem is a plus; DSP experience is a major plus
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product messages
  • Ability to aggregate multiple sources of data, research and information and consolidating that into business cases for new products and solutions
  • Strong project management skills
