To support this, we have dedicated insights teams in each market (Sight) whose vision is to provide our clients with high value actionable insights. Our objective is to empower brands to understand business drivers through our insights, combined with the ability to quantify their marketing effectiveness, and therefore refine their strategies for success. Captify achieves this by uniquely being able to explore dimensions of intent signals, consumer interests, product perception, inner life moments and direct and indirect influences. At the heart of this is Captify’s unique Semantic Technology, powering insights and media on every channel and on every device.

The candidate will be leading a team of analysts and strategists based in our London office, which forms our UK Sight team. They will be responsible for leadership and setting the direction that drives both retention and revenue growth through the delivery of high-quality insights to our clients. They will work closely planning with the Sales and Client strategy teams as one of the key partner functions, ensuring that we are continually delivering class leading insights that matter to our clients. Ongoing review of prioritisation, pipeline management and team utilisation will naturally be required to ensure we put the focus in the right areas within a high velocity/demand environment. It goes without saying, collaboration and innovation as part of the global community is expected with ongoing active dialogue with your peers in all markets.

This will of course centre on using the extensive data assets that are at the core of Captify, analysing our extensive proprietary assets as well as campaign data. A proportion of this is automated via our platforms, however there is a significant opportunity to conduct exploratory analysis, develop and test hypotheses and continually innovate through curiosity as no one client is the same. These innovations ultimately contribute to product development as the voice of the insights customer, therefore expect to work extensively with the Global Director of Insights and product teams.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Working closely and consultatively with Sales/Client Strategy/creative Studio teams to define client Insight scope and manage pipeline of projects into the team
  • Supporting both new business pitches/RFP’s and strategic development plans across our existing high value clients with senior leads. Both UK clients and multi market clients as we support numerous global clients through their London agencies
  • Be comfortable both presenting work to clients directly at a senior level and acting as a consultant to them
  • Critically appraising the effectiveness of Insight products in delivering increased client revenue through win rates/upweights and account growth
  • Effectively manage workloads and delivery of projects to defined SLA’s within a fast-paced environment
  • Maintaining a consistency of high level of quality to all projects, across analysis, commentary and visualisation
  • Ongoing assessment of the insights and measurement needs to support ongoing growth of the market – building business cases and maintaining roadmaps for testing and delivery
  • Assessment of 3rd parties who can provide either validation or augmentation to Captify’s insights
  • Participate in the planning and design of new insights and analysis products for internal and external use
  • Mentor the team, working to define their training and development requirements as well as ongoing coaching
  • Communicate research findings to technical and non-&dash;technical audiences internally and externally
  • Working with the global teams/market peers to define future platform insight automations and requirements to increase efficiency/innovation
  • Active contributor to building a dynamic and thriving insight community globally.


What you need to be successful:

  • Demonstrative experience of working within a commercially orientated insight role, with clear success of attributing to revenue growth
  • Proven team management experience, be recognised as a coach and leader to your teams
  • A foundational insights or research background with experience gained in an agency, digital media owner, client, or ad technology environment
  • Have been within a Insights/Research/Strategy role, with significant exposure to working with programmatic/digital analytics data for at least 5yrs
  • Clear understanding of measurement within the digital ecosystem, from attribution through to mixed media modelling principles. How clients measure success, from linear campaign metrics to complex models.
  • A passion and curiosity in the data and technology space, continually innovating and asking question
  • Excellent communication skills: influencing and working effectively with technical and non-technical audiences - asking intelligent questions and able to translate analysis into compelling stories - making complex data analysis clear and impactful
  • Degree in Maths, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent desirable
  • Proven commercial experience with statistical analysis and experiment design and analysis a distinct advantage
  • Deep demonstrable experience with SQL and Python preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exposure and working understanding of BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, etc.
