Job Overview

Captify has created a dedicated insights division – Sight. The vision being to provide our clients with high quality insights that genuinely enable them to increase their understanding of dimensions including intent signals, consumer interests, product perception, inner life moments and direct and indirect influences. Ultimately informing faster and more effective business decisions.

The role as an Insights strategist will be working as part of the UK team, responsible for helping lead the function in the delivery of high-quality differentiated insights to our clients. The strategist will work closely as a partner with the Sales and Client Strategy teams, gaining deep understanding into some of the UK’s largest advertiser’s business objectives. Identifying how Insight Studio is able to create value to our clients, acting as a partner unlocking true insight that enables them to define both the audiences as well as their marketing strategies. The role is both internal and external facing, as the strategist’s role will be to both be a client facing evangelist and a translation layer into the team's analysts.

The role is both analytically focused, and therefore requires an individual with technical ability, with experience of working with data in the media area (potentially agency or client side) a preference. As well as being commercially orientated, understanding a client’s business challenges and how to approach them to deliver compelling data driven insights. Key responsibilities

  • Working closely and consultatively with Sales/Client Strategy teams to define client Insight requirements and manage pipeline of projects
  • Effectively manage workloads and delivery of projects to defined SLA’s within a fast-paced environment
  • Maintaining a consistency of high level of quality to all projects, across analysis, commentary and visualisation
  • Be comfortable presenting your work to clients directly, including insight and research piers
  • Working with the product team on platform insight automations and requirements to increase efficiency
  • Critically appraising the effectiveness of Insight in delivering increased client revenue through win rates/upweights and account growth
  • Participate in the planning and design of new reporting and analysis products for internal and external use.
  • Communicate research findings to technical and non-­‐technical audiences internally and externally
  • Helping to build a dynamic and thriving insight community globally

Requirements

  • Exposure to working with adserver, programmatic or digital analytics data for at least 2yrs
  • An insights background with experience gained in an agency, digital media owner, or ad technology environment
  • A passion and curiosity in the data and technology space, continually innovating and asking questions
  • Excellent communication skills: influencing and working effectively with technical and non-technical audiences - asking intelligent questions and able to translate analysis into compelling stories - making complex data analysis clear and impactful
  • A base understanding of advanced analytics techniques such as clustering, attribution, and significance testing desirable
  • A good degree (2:1 or higher) in either a marketing or mathematical based subject
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
