Job Overview

The Sales Operations Manager for IPONWEB will play an important role in the continued growth of the business by supporting client-facing teams with a range of tasks and responsibilities. Working closely with Business Development, Legal, and Client Services teams, the role will be focused on providing direct client handling for inbound inquiries, contract process management and client vetting and qualification as well as the management of many internal-facing platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and interpersonal skills, proficiency with lead generation and CRM software (SalesForce). Proficiency in Mandarin — as well as advanced-level language skills in English — is required, and German or French proficiency is preferred. The role will report to the VP of Commercial Operations, IPONWEB.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Own all sales operations for IPONWEB, including assisting with partner vetting, contracting, onboarding, and (where needed) termination.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert on all company contracts and addenda, partnering with Business Development and Client Services to provide paperwork preparation services and tracking, and with legal service to constantly improve the state of our contracts.
  • Maintain and evolve partnership processes to align with IPONWEB’s business strategy, as well as the industry’s constantly changing landscape.
  • Manage all company sales tools, including Salesforce, DocuSign, and relevant JIRA queues.
  • Evangelize operational processes throughout IPONWEB in an effort to reproduce best practices and procedures in other parts of the business.

Skills & Experience:

  • Language proficiency in Mandarin (fluency required) and French or German desirable
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in strategic marketing or international business.
  • 2 years+ experience in a similar role within the AdTech industry.
  • Complex influencing and negotiating skills with clients in culturally sensitive locations.
  • Skilled in managing complex databases and qualifying sales leads to assign to appropriate business development colleagues.
  • Strongly developed data analysis skills, a love of problem solving through data.
  • Liaising with multiple stakeholders across a matrix structure and global locations.
  • Ability to prepare reports for C-Level management in BidSwitch and advise suitable course of action to address data trends identified.
  • Familiarity with workflow management software (JIRA, RT, ASANA, etc).
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and writing skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment; flexibility in working across both cultures and languages.
