Job Overview

MiQ is a programmatic media partner with an incredible growth story – especially in the US market. Through a strategy of delivering better connected marketing across all programmatic channels, MiQ has built a dedicated & diversified client base and is regarded as a leader in the programmatic advertising space.

This growth requires a client success program that can scale efficiently whilst delivering client satisfaction, retention and growth. This includes ensuring MiQ has the right capabilities in place to deliver client needs, ongoing maturation of our client segmentation, evolving & clarifying roles and responsibilities across servicing teams, scaling our analytics functions and acting as a key stakeholder in our automation efforts.

MiQ seeks an exceptional people leader to meet these demands. Reporting to the most senior layer of US leadership, their remit will be to lead our account management, client partner and client solutions teams, in addition to collaborating with key delivery teams such as adops, trading, product and analytics. Through their role they will be pivotal to the continued growth and operational efficiency of MiQ’s US business.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Leadership of US client success program, including:

  • Ownership of 3 key departments: account management, client partnership and client solutions, and line management of these 3 team leaders
  • Delivering strong engagement and establishing a positive, energetic team culture amongst client success teams with MiQ’s core values at its heart.
  • Identifying talent and resource gaps and addressing these through creation of appropriate business cases, hiring and talent development
  • Performance management of teams including holding teams accountable to OKRs and ongoing standards, delivering results, recognizing & celebrating success and reporting performance to the US executive team

Client engagement

  • Meeting with MiQ’s top US clients as their most senior point of contact in order to ensure critical clients are well supported and have the right teams and strategies in place
  • Supporting sales departments with strategic pitches, including high-level campaign strategy and pitch narrative
  • Consulting directly with teams on retention & growth strategies, especially in relation to top tier accounts

Strategy & delivery

  • Developing the vision & direction for US Client Success
  • Formulating goals, in the form of OKRs that provide clarity to teams on how they can deliver on this vision
  • Defining clear roles and responsibilities across interdependent teams to ensure a smooth and efficient campaign management process
  • Working with marketing & sales departments to establish additional feedback loops with clients, such as a client advisory board or client survey
  • Working with trading, adops & analytics to ensure exceptional delivery against client needs
  • Working with product & engineering teams to drive forward automation efforts and reduce repetitive/redundant tasks within teams

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • A seasoned leader with the ability to source & nurture talent, build positive department culture, lead by example, plan effective strategies, and act with autonomy & decisiveness
  • 8+ years’ experience in client-facing positions with a track record of success
  • Strong knowledge of the programmatic advertising space, competitors and client needs.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing measurement and analytics
  • Experience building, executing, and measuring the success of client success programs.
  • Excellent persuasive communicator with extensive experience speaking with senior client contacts.
  • Commercial thinker who can build a deep understanding of client needs and relate this to MiQ’s capabilities and growth ambitions.
  • Collaborative approach to working with multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Detail oriented, organized and willing to get hands-on with tasks when necessary to hit deadlines and solve problems.
  • Strong familiarity with sales & task management systems such as SalesForce & Jira.
  • Alignment with MiQ's core values.
  • A can-do attitude to provide energy, drive, and enthusiasm.
