Job Overview

The Data Solutions Executive will sit within the UK Product, Data & Analytics team reporting into the Audience & Measurement Insights Manager.

The objectives of the Data Solutions Executive will focus on supporting the management and continued development of the Audience Insights and Planning strategy of Finecast by helping to deliver solutions that enable advertisers to precision-target viewers through the addressable TV advertising

The role will require a flexible and creative thinking approach because it sits within an area of continued growth and evolution, with multiple projects to juggle and different stakeholders to relate with. Good and assertive communication is a key requirement along with a natural data literacy and the motivation to learn.

The Data Solutions Executive will work closely with the wider Data Solutions team in cross-functional projects related to Audience Planning, Data Insights and Measurement solutions that support the Finecast audience strategy providing our client with cutting-edge targeting capabilities and sustain the growth and scale of the business in the market.

Responsibilities:

This is a dynamic and compelling role, and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will develop a close work relationship with various internal and external teams and the key responsibilities for the role are:

Data Management and Insights

  • Monitoring usage and performance of Finecast data in line with audience targeting capabilities and opportunities.
  • Analysis of that data in order uncover insights that help the team to provide a greater understanding and applications of our audiences to the business and maximise efficiencies of data partnerships
  • Evangelise our data segmentation and the best use of each data set as part of the planning framework, as well as to maintain and support to evolve all available planning tools.
  • Work closely with Finecast’s data and tech partners to onboard, manage their data and make it available for campaign planning and targeting for the rest of the business.
  • Working closely with teams at Finecast such as Engagement, Client Services and Operations providing insights that help to shape the right strategy and implementation in relation of targeting recommendation, campaign planning, audience set-up, measurement, and business challenges.
  • Responsible for designated projects and workstreams that provide support to the team in the areas of audience data, planning and campaign effectiveness insights.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the implementation of campaign effectiveness solutions is set up appropriately and reflect the client’s objectives and in line Finecast’s audience planning. Support with the post-campaign report and data analysis.

Projects and Process

  • Collaborate with the wider team on the go-to-market implementation on projects such as the launch of a new data partnership or the roll-out of a new solution available for the business.
  • Document and implement any required process across teams, training and procedures that support the Audience and Planning strategy.
  • Work together with the wider Product, Data & Analytics team on broader initiatives when needed. Collaborate with the rest of the Audience and Measurement team on cross-functional tasks ensuring alignment and efficiency across the team.
  • Working closely with the A&M Insights Manager to meet the goals of the PDA team and fulfil the team strategy
  • Maintain and evolve administration, manage the team library and the ongoing control of the budget and finance monthly reconciliation process.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have some data skills with the capacity to interpretate the data to draw out insights married with a strong business acumen.

  • Able to demonstrate relevant experience in data analytics or business analyst functions.
  • Natural data literacy and Excel skills
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Determined, quick learner, curious and the mindset to learn on the job

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience in planning and campaign management.
  • Understanding of video advertising and related metrics
  • Genuine interest for the media industry, target audiences, consumer behaviour and data.
  • Knowledge of any programming language as part of a degree course or a first job
