Job Overview

The Sr. UI/UX Designer role is responsible for leading user interface design projects across the organization. Sourcepoint has multiple product lines, and this role will be crucial in defining the user experience for all product lines. As opportunities are defined this person will be responsible for working with Product and Engineering to gather requirements and turn those requirements into a beautiful user experience.

The Sr. UI/UX Designer will analyze current UI/UX and workflows of existing and new products. This analysis will also include current reporting and analytics products. The person will work to understand current Sales and Marketing business strategies. The Sr. UI/UX Designer will design an integrated UI/UX workflow that supports a more intuitive self-service model across products. Work products will include wireframe or equivalent and visual mock-ups. The role will work with Product to define agile stories to support through implementation.

This role will work closely with our C-level team as well as our VP, Engineering, SVP of Product and Lead Engineers and Product owners

Responsibilities:

  • Identify target user groups and carry out interviews or other types of inquiry to help understand user needs
  • Ensure the creation and implementation of customized experiences for the digital user
  • Produce high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards, and site maps
  • Provide guidance on the implementation of UX research techniques and testing activities to assess user behavior
  • Maintain a competitive edge against competitor products and industry trends
  • Perform tests on user interface elements such as CTAs, layouts, target links, landing pages and banners
  • Understand product specifications and user psychology and predict what might work for both
  • Work cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Services teams

Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience as an UI-UX Designer or similar role
  • UI design portfolio
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to discuss and explain design options
  • Detail oriented
  • Critical thinker
  • Problem solver and customer-centered
  • Knowledge of Adobe range of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Dreamweaver
  • Nice to have: 1-2 years of experience with HTML5 & CSS3
  • Some knowledge of Usability Factors in Human Computer Interaction
