About this role:

The Senior Director, Publisher Development will head up ID5’s business development efforts towards publishers globally. • In collaboration with ID5’s Chief Strategy Officer, lead discussions with premium publishers, from initial presentation to contract negotiation, closing and onboarding, and implement a service structure aligned with their expectations

  • Automate the recruitment of mid- and long-tail publishers, liaising with the company’s marketing team to generate leads and providing guidance to the Product team to build the appropriate onboarding capabilities

  • Hire and manage a publisher-facing business development and customer success team

  • At least 7 years professional experience, ideally in Digital Advertising and/or a technology-related Business Development role. Publisher-facing experience is preferred.

  • An excellent communicator, with a proven ability to convey a complicated, technical value proposition to a non-technical audience.

  • A natural business developer, with a demonstrated ability to engage with senior decision makers to source, qualify, define, negotiate and close deals

  • Someone with strong project management skills, the ability to coordinate resources and drive them towards the achievement of a common goal in a timely manner.

  • An entrepreneurial-minded individual who will enjoy leading a small publisher-facing business unit within the organisation. Responsibility, autonomy, enthusiasm, humility, drive and a willingness to learn are key characteristics required to be successful in this role
