As a member of the Account Management team, you will be in the unique position to work closely with individuals from other departments including Sales, Trading, Analysis, Product and Marketing; not only within Canada but across our Global footprint. The Account Manager is a hard-working, analytical media professional driven by a focus on client success.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • People Management
    • The day to day management and development of direct reports – Account Executives and Account Coordinators
    • Acting as an escalation point with team challenges
  • Client Servicing & Relationships
    • Owning and overseeing the post-sales process, ensuring world-class servicing and output at every stage of the client lifecycle
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key client stakeholders
    • Acting as an escalation point for troubleshooting client requests
  • Campaign & Insight Management
    • Ensuring operational excellence across each stage of the campaign lifecycle including insight reports.
    • Working closely with your teams and the Traders to set campaigns up for success
    • Leading troubleshooting requirements and alleviating the trading and product teams from technical troubleshooting where possible.
    • Identifying and securing upweight and resell opportunities through strategic thinking and strong client relationships and understanding of their business challenges and needs
  • Thought Leadership
    • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, clients and the team; sought out as a sounding board.
    • Honestly and proactively challenge internal/external stakeholders’ ideas
    • Gain deep knowledge of what the challenges are for each of our clients are
  • Innovation
    • Consistently suggest novel approaches for all types of challenges; at the same drive a culture of innovation amongst team members
    • Proactively seek to pilot, validate, and improve new ideas or methods and is willing to take calculated risks
    • Share new ways of working with sales and trading to drive performance

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in the programmatic media and/or ad tech space.
  • At least 2+ years client facing experienceWorking in a team environment
  • Client Services / Account Management / Sales Support / Ad-Ops background advantageous but not required
  • Experience with basic functions of Microsoft Excel or similar
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accountability
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to problem-solve, work independently, and identify potential risks
  • Eager to learn new systems, technologies, and advertising techniques
  • Flexible and adaptable as a team player with strong communication skills
  • A can-do attitude to provide energy, drive and enthusiasm
