Job Overview

Your main responsibilities will include:

Deliver Results

  • Execution of the DACH strategy within Independent Agencies to drive incremental revenue
  • Synthesise conversations to brief internal resource with solutions that can be taken to the client
  • Identify and forecast commercial / annual opportunity
  • Assess and reassess solution viability and buy in adjusting proposal as required through key milestones

Entrepreneurial and Commercial thinking

  • Research goes beyond advertiser account and into industry trends, previous spend, buying patterns of key opportunities
  • Make calculated risks to prioritise one agency over another
  • Can demonstrate how we could help the advertiser/agency to overcome business or market challenges

Internal Collaboration

  • Able to give a forecast of needs to internal stakeholders as well as managing here and now requirements
  • Consulting with key account personnel on wider business objectives and providing product solutions to meet objectives
  • Seen as a subject matter expert, sought out as a mentor or for advice


  • Know how the client can build market share. Can speak knowledgeably as if they are in the CMO’s shoes to give competitive advantage
  • Use the agency as a sales channel, focussed on the end client
  • Give something back to the agency to demonstrate early on a meaningful two-way relationship

Product Knowledge

  • Has broad knowledge of competitor offerings in addition to internal offerings and can position us based on that
  • Consistently articulate product position strategies and key selling messages
  • Able to counter competitor offerings articulately


  • Experience working within a programmatic media owner within a sales & strategic planning role
  • You have a range of existing relationships with independent agencies.
  • Programmatic/data led solutions experience
  • Experience in building, management and execution of robust account strategies
  • Proven track record in delivering business winning proposals through client engagement
  • Experience in presenting to middle & senior agency personnel


  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Storytelling - interpretation of campaign insights to deliver a clear, concise and visual story
  • Cross Selling – driving product adoption across existing key accounts.
  • Building meaningful and sustainable relationships with marketing departments within direct clients
  • Alignment with MiQ's core values/culture
  • A can do' attitude to provide energy, drive and enthusiasm
