We currently have a development team of 24 people (with more joining in January 2021), of whom 4 focus on the infrastructure and supporting DevOps activities.
The team is highly focused on rapid delivery of functionality to meet the demands of the business and is comprised of several small cross functional project teams who own the code from design through to production. Evolving processes aim to get a balance between agility and quality that is in line with our market position.
This role is part of the Tools and Automation team who have responsibility for delivering infrastructure and tooling to support all the development, build, cloud computing, storage, database, Kubernetes, monitoring, and deployment activities of the engineering team and the needs of the product and live platform.
We primarily hire for aptitude not knowledge, although we would like to see at least 18 months experience of working in infrastructure or SRE domains in a cloud deployment environment, we are not looking for a list of specific skills on your CV.
