Job Overview

The Strategy team serves as Flashtalking’s engine for scalable growth by focusing on three key objectives: (1) accelerating revenue; (2) elevating Flashtalking’s market leadership position; and (3) building new business capabilities. Ours is a small team of smart, energetic, and highly motivated individuals who exercise leadership by serving the needs of our clients and commercial team.

The ideal candidate is a smart, highly energetic, intellectually curious professional who is motivated to make a tangible impact on the business. He/she may have an MBA and/or 2-3 years of management consulting experience or, alternately, 3-5 years of experience working in the digital marketing organization of a major brand in one of our target verticals. Digital marketing experience is a must; knowledge about the paid media ad tech ecosystem is a plus. He/she must be a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships both internally and with clients. He/she must be a good business writer - as we author all our own content – and a strong presenter.

Primary Job Functions

  • Partner to help us bring social to market. 

  • Support the sales team to win deals.

  • Serve as overall strategic lead for building the business and driving our social revenue. 

  • Secondary focus - establish contacts with social partners.

  • Go to Market   

    • Define our strategy: 

      • Who are we targeting? 

      • How we are messaging. 

      • Define value proposition. 

    • Packaging up our offering to the marketplace to build awareness and drive demand. 

  • Project Management 

    • Lead the collaboration, coordination and alignment with Product, Marketing, and other stakeholder groups. 

    • Coordination and alignment across groups to drive GTM strategy. 

    • Ensuring initiatives are moving forward at rapid pace. 

    • Holding regularly scheduled status meetings with senior leadership 

  • Market Facing External Execution 

    • Support Sales Teams 

      • Be the expert who can get in the room to provide support to sales as the SME. 

      • Training – get the organization smart.  

    • Partnerships 

      • Initiate relationships with key partners to drive product adoption. 

      • Set up and lead meetings with key partners. 

      • Pursue co-marketing opportunities. 

      • Interface with Business Development on partner contracts 

    • Industry Expertise 

      • Industry webinars, writing thought leadership pieces, driving PR roadmap.  

      • Stay current with industry changes.  

      • Monitor competitive landscape.
