Job Overview

DoubleVerify seeks a talented, energetic and resourceful Sales Development Specialist based in our NYC HQ to support the continued expansion of our Programmatic, Performance and Social product solutions. This role is a critical sales position responsible for supporting achievement in revenue targets from the products and solutions within their defined area of specialty and will be actively collaborating on GTM strategy and tactics with Enterprise Sales Directors (ESD), Client Partners (CP), and Integrated Solutions Directors (ISD’s) to help drive the greatest impact.

We are looking for an intelligent and ambitious junior salesperson that has a roll-up your sleeves attitude, a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of the modern digital and programmatic ecosystems. This individual should be passionate about all of the latest advertising technologies and have a strong knowledge and understanding of the digital ecosystem including all formats (i.e. Display, Video, Mobile), Platforms (i.e. DSPs, Exchanges etc.), and Social Media (i.e. Meta, TikTok, YouTube).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for growing and supporting revenue achievement from the products and solutions within their defined area of specialty and assigned geographic territory
  • Partner and collaborate effectively with multiple internal stakeholders (i.e. Enterprise Sales Directors, Client Partners, Account Management, Integrated solution directions) to support sales efforts to expand adoption from both new and existing customers.
  • Support Programmatic, Social, and Performance product efforts to maximize product expansion through strong analytical and data driven recommendations.
  • Builds the individual customer use case for the products they support, tailoring pitch materials to meet the specific needs of each business opportunity; Extends beyond technical selling to include the development of narratives that further differentiate DV
  • Supports Client Partners & Integrated Solutions Directors by helping identify opportunities to grow revenue from existing customers within their area of specialty
  • Support expansion and acceleration through effective sales enablement and planning
  • Partner with Manager and Marketing team to improve Lead Development management and Account Based Marketing (ABM)
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth oriented environment
  • Achieve both quarterly and annual performance and new business goals
  • Achieve MBO’s agreed with line manager (Group ISD)

Requirements

  • Experience selling strategic digital solutions in Ad Tech, Data, Media or other solutions related to Digital advertising; Requires more than 2+ years minimum in digital and programmatic advertising w/ Social and Agency experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about a brand’s key business objectives and translate them into compelling DV value propositions that drive impact.
  • Team player with an “always-on” partnership mentality, with proven examples of working collaboratively with multiple internal teams to build business and sales momentum.
  • Rigorous attention to detail, drive for excellence, and a positive can-do approach.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that drive sales impact
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to draw data-driven conclusions to help inform the development and sell-through of strategic client recommendations
  • Deep knowledge of the Programmatic Ad Ecosystem across CTV & Digital platforms (i.e. Ad servers, SSPs, DSPs, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of the Social Platforms (i.e. Meta, IG, YouTube, TikTok, Snap, etc.)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc) and visualizing data
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
