Job Overview

As the Senior Compensation Analyst you will join our Total Rewards team reporting to our Sr. Director, Total Rewards and will support the administration and management of NextRoll’s compensation program. You will be a key player in the day-to-day operations by making recommendations on job offers, conducting salary analyses using market data and internal evaluations, and providing support for compensation programs and strategic projects. The role will have responsibility for recommendations and guidance to the broader People and Talent Acquisition Partners, and to business leaders on all things related to compensation.

This role is open in our San Francisco, New York City, Salt Lake City offices, or Remote.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Partner with department leaders, People Business Partners and recruiters to address compensation related matters such as offers, promotions, and internal transfers
  • Assist in the administration of the annual merit and mid-year review cycles
  • Collect and analyze competitive salary information through compensation surveys to help set the company's market position; ensure proper job leveling and mapping
  • Collaborate with Sr. Director, Total Rewards and Compensation Manager to develop new compensation program initiatives or improve current processes; assist in driving the change management and communication efforts associated with implementation
  • Assist with preparing materials for Board Of Director meetings and support the administration of the equity program

Skills you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of progressive compensation experience
  • Demonstrated experience in multiple areas of Compensation - job matching and market pricing, incentive compensation, equity operations, job architecture, etc.
  • Advanced Google Sheets or Excel skills with the ability to effectively envision and develop repeatable models
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to communicate and explain compensation philosophy, program design, and recommendations effectively with all personas of the organization
  • You think about how to work smarter, with a focus on simple, scalable and automated processes
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic; you thrive working in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing business needs and can work successfully both independently and within a highly collaborative team
