Flashtalking is hiring a Video Certification Specialist to join our team. The Video Specialist is a subject matter expert on video ad serving. The Video Specialist will be responsible for interfacing with partners and publishers to ensure delivery of personalized video.
Communicate with third party companies and partners regarding video ad serving opportunities and integrations.
Will work with individual publishers and DSPs to ensure delivery of personalized video.
Will work with the video product lead to come up with solutions related to video ad delivery.
Collaborate with the Publisher Certification team to execute video testing and documentation.
5+ years applied web technology experience, including digital video experience.
Experience working with digital video delivery systems, video players.
Experience with a server side ad insertion (SSAI) provider or environment.
Experience working with video files (encoding and transcoding, asset management, etc).
Experience with ticketing or task management systems like Zendesk, JIRA, Bugzilla, Basecamp, or Asana.
High comfort level with core internet principles (sending and receiving data, headers, server calls, response codes).
Understanding of internet advertising technologies (ad tag implementation, click and impression tracking, digital video advertising process).
Understanding OTT and CTV technologies.
Experience with video related IAB technical standards: VAST, VPAID, OMID, SIMID
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
Professional written and spoken communication. Able to communicate about complex topics in a simple and clear style.
Experience working for a SSAI provider or video player technology company.
Experience working for a publisher that uses SSAI technology.
5+ years work experience in digital advertising, digital video, or a related technology field
BA/BS or comparable degree/certification especially in a technical field
