Job Overview

We’re seeking a Commercial Counsel reporting to our Director, Legal Counsel. In this role you will draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements and work cross functionally with different teams throughout the company. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on groundbreaking Ad/Mar-Tech issues in a fast paced start-up environment where your work will have a direct impact on our business. This role is open in our San Francisco, New York City, Salt Lake City offices, or Remote.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Draft and negotiate a broad range of high volume commercial agreements, including marketing, consulting, non-disclosure, software/SaaS, master services, data processing and other vendor agreements.
  • Field incoming requests, review and handle, or escalate as appropriate to other members of the Legal team.
  • Maintain commercial playbooks and clause libraries to meet business requirements, align with company policies, mitigate risk, and establish consistency in contract negotiations.
  • Assist with the Legal team’s transition to a new contracts management system.
  • Collaborate on ad hoc projects, litigation, corporate matters, and legal research.

Skills you’ll bring:

  • JD and are admitted to a state bar in good standing (preferably NY or CA)
  • 1-3 years of attorney experience working on commercial and/or corporate matters.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced environment, multitask and work independently
  • Background in advertising, privacy, technology and/or digital media a plus
  • Prior experience supporting a sales team a plus
