NextRoll is looking for a Solutions Engineer for RollWorks, NextRoll’s B2B business unit, to take ownership of technical customer on-boarding and post-launch technical requests. Technical areas will span tag implementation, API and CRM integrations – as well as development of best practices. As an all-star Solutions Engineer, you will work with our customers' technical teams throughout their lifecycle with NextRoll, and contribute to internal projects of interest.
This role is open in our San Francisco, New York City, Salt Lake City offices, or Remote.

Responsibilities:
- Be the go-to technical product expert for RollWorks to design, and implement simplified B2B integrations.
- Drive pixel implementation directly on the customer’s website using NextRoll’s JavaScript/HTML tags, or through tag management solutions.
- Help implement bi-directional CRM integration with Salesforce, Marketo and Hubspot for Account Based Marketing (ABM).
- Solve complex integration problems while onboarding new B2B customers and get them live faster by ensuring that best-practices are followed.
- Identify and triage urgent issues, work with our core engineering teams as needed for reporting product bugs, new features and improvement requests.
- Escalating system wide issues and incident management including sending internal and external communication to all NextRoll employees and customers globally.
- Provide exceptional post launch customer support within defined SLAs and help reduce customer churn.
- Work cross functionally with Support engineering, Product engineering, Customer Success and other teams.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve why NextRoll platform features don't work as intended for certain customers.
- Implement internal development tools to automate manual error prone tasks - eg: using Java, Javascript and consume Platform REST API’s
- Develop relationships with third party vendors and suppliers for their integration with NextRoll.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical skills: 2-5 years of experience working with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, REST APIs and a plus for Python / PHP
- 1-3 years of hands on expertise with databases like Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, Redis, Cassandra, etc
- Hands on expertise with Cloud based solutions like Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, VMware, etc
- Familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, agile project management methodologies like Scrum
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and customer facing skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in tone and technical descriptions

- Self-motivated with strong critical thinking skills and problem solving skills
- A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or related field
