Job Overview
Ogury is hiring a senior analyst to join our expanding team. The FP&A team’s objective is to support the business as a key partner and trusted advisor, while ensuring financial success of the company. As a crucial part of the team and reporting to the Global FP&A Director, this position will have high exposure to strategies, action planning, and financial planning across the entire S&O organization. The focus of this role is to provide critical analysis of top line performance trends, structure a cadenced reporting process, and grow into a full business partner for a dedicated scope.
What You'll Do
- Participate in forecasting and budgeting, financial modeling, management reporting, and data analytics throughout the year.
- Monitor, research, and report on financial performance giving any early indications of variances to forecast.
- Analyze and report core KPI’s, leading discussion around definition, tracking, and implementation with your partners.
- Develop a deep understanding of our data sets and translate the information in a clear and strategic visualization.
- Perform ad hoc analysis, for example : scenario planning of headcount investment costs, gross margin impacts of product enhancements, etc.
- Partner with the business to support cycles and develop top quality presentations with qualitative insights. Examples include bottoms-up, reforecast, target setting, QBR, MPR, etc.
- Grow and develop as a finance professional through various responsibilities.
Who You Are
- 1-3 years of experience in FP&A, Sales Operations or Finance at either a high-growth company or a large, well-established organization
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills with a deep understanding of model architecture, formula efficiency, and pivot tables
- Experience with Salesforce reporting and structure (System Admin not necessary)
- Experience with Tableau or SQL/Python a plus
- Self-starter who is proactive, intellectually curious, and not afraid to seek out projects independently
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills
- Collaborative with cross functional teams
