The New Business Sales Director is a new role at Ogury and will be an integral part of our 2022 growth plan. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and scaling a robust book of new business focused on direct brand relationships with mid-market/ high growth potential clients that are not represented by the major holding companies and are not being called on today by Ogury.

In this role, you will help to determine and refine the proper strategy, approach, and execution for your territory. Your primary objective is to expand Ogury’s business to new advertisers and grow revenue significantly through the pursuit of new business.

What You'll Do:

  • Prospecting, hunting, securing meetings, closing business to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Tracking activity throughout all facets of the sales cycle to help guide towards key growth decisions and bring success triggers to the forefront for faster expansion; in other words, measure everything through effective use of Salesforce to determine those activities that are the best predictors of success.
  • Continuously optimizing to improve effectiveness of outreach and drive clients down the sales funnel.
  • Help to develop and execute sales strategies for long-term growth.
  • Engage with advertisers of all levels from day-to-day leads to senior level executives to support sales team efforts and drive deal growth.

Who You Are:

  • You have 5+ years experience in digital ad sales with a proven track record in both programmatic and managed service type deals. Mobile experience is a plus.
  • Has a passion for new business, cold outreach and has experience identifying new opportunities
  • Data driven and has an educated point of view on how to leverage CRM most effectively, as well as prospecting tools such as Sales Navigator, Media Radar, Winmo, Seller Crowd, etc.
  • Loves the fundamentals of sales, measuring what works and being in front of potential clients
  • You have an eagerness to work in a start-up team environment that will be rapidly changing.
  • You are an educator and business consultant – connecting with clients to maximize their potential and relationship.
  • Starting something brand new without processes or history is not for the faint of heart. Resilience, persistence, creativity and true grit will be needed to succeed.
  • Excellent presentation skills and comfort with executive-level interaction.
