Job Overview

Finecast is currently live in 10 markets - with further market launches planned for 2022.

The Global Client Partner will report to the Global Chief Growth Officer to deliver on the Finecast vision to drive market expansion through the identification and execution of viable and sustainable client opportunities.

There will be four core areas of focus:

  • The development of a global agency and client growth strategy, including but not exhaustive of the creation of a global client planning/execution framework that targets both GroupM and non GroupM clients.

  • Excellence in sector/industry strategy, creating initiatives that empower global businesses to embed addressable solutions within their marketing communications approach.

  • Building, growing, and deepening relationships with C-level and senior-level key agency stakeholders and clients.

  • Targeting of new budgets and the development of strong solution-based pitches

The core areas of focus include:

  • Pivotal to all market launches, ensuring that Finecast’s top 30 client growth aspirations are delivered in line with the global expansion strategy.
  • Work alongside the Global CGO to execute commercial client strategies that enable all Finecast markets to scale by year 2/3. This will be achieved via the development of a collaborative, client growth strategy that is built with, and on behalf of the global client leadership community.
  • Integral to ensuring that the Finecast business strategy is front and centre of global client’s strategies, and that Finecast is positioned as the leader in Addressable TV.
  • Leading global client pitches – ensuring that Finecast is represented as a leader in the future of television within all pitch scenarios.
  • Work with key stakeholders across all GroupM’s individual agency brands – ensuring that the Finecast proposition is both fully understood and embedded at a client team level.
  • Work collaboratively and closely with the Finecast product team and the Global CGO to identify commercial opportunity within key territories that position Finecast as a key Media and Technology partner, based on top 30 client strategic requirements.
  • Work with the Global CGO to develop a Global plan to achieve sales team expansion beyond GroupM clients. Including, but not exhaustive of the following:
    • The creation of a commercial sales model for a Pan Regional sales team, including the identification and application of best in class Pan Regional commercial sales/product/vendor strategies.
    • Develop a robust approach to the launch of a global non GroupM client growth strategy (including all non GroupM, WPP agencies – AKQA etc).
  • Develop the vision, strategy, and sales plan for the identified and agreed list of top 30 GroupM clients.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business and marketing strategies and needs of Finecast top 30 clients, including insights into their consumers’ behaviour.
  • Work with members of the global client leadership team and the senior global investment leads to cultivate and develop strong relationships with global clients in live, new and consideration markets.
  • Discover and cultivate new business opportunities and drive business growth. Contribute to the overall branding strategy, working with the global client leader community to lead cross-sector initiatives.
  • Analyse data trends and client performance with the addressable eco system, develop solid strategic sales plans, and prepare and conduct strategic pitches and sales presentations
  • Collaborate and consult with customers to optimize business growth
  • Develop case studies of successful campaigns. Share insights with customers, including campaign effectiveness and brand lift studies.
  • Serve as an advocate in the global addressable media space.
  • Work collegiately with and Inspire the Finecast Engagement Community to provide leadership and direction, coaching, guidance, feedback on approach to global client strategies.

Candidate Requirements

They will be able to collaborate well internally and externally to drive projects to completion, communicate effectively to articulate ideas and vision, and manage multiple stakeholders in complex projects. Ideally the candidate will have experience in multiple markets.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong working knowledge of the TV advertising industry as well as the media agency landscape.

• A strong track record of successfully managing and cultivating senior client relationships, both at an agency and direct client level.

• Proven success in business development, client relationship building on senior level, excellent sales, and servicing skills, as is experience in solution-based selling.

• An established network within the agency industry with significant experience in marketing and consumer communication

• Proven ability to identify and grow revenue opportunity with a strong track record of achieving commercial goals

• Experience in working with key stakeholder groups to educate them in positioning a new product in their existing media mix

• Experience working across multiple markets
