The VideoAmp People Team is looking for a Sr. Director of Engagement & Experience who will be responsible for cultivating the culture, engagement and productivity of employees throughout the entire employee experience lifecycle. As a Sr. Director, you are passionate about all things data and tech, and have extensive knowledge and personal curiosity around the digital media space. You are accomplished in the areas of discovering new ways to help people improve their holistic wellbeing and designing programs that further people’s passions to drive business success. You are curious about all “next and best” workplace innovations that help people grow. As a Sr. Director, you are responsible for owning the company-wide real estate footprint, off-sites and in-person company-wide summits and other various activities that help people align their personal purpose with the organizational mission. You play an integral part of our People team where we all work collaboratively and cross-functionally to support the holistic employee experience. This role reports to the VP, Experience & Engagement and is based at VideoAmp Hub in Chicago/another region or traveling regularly to hub locations.

Due to the implications of COVID-19, this role is virtually based and our organization is committed to prioritizing your health and safety through these unprecedented times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and define employee experience engagement and wellbeing plan including key results and deliverables, in partnership with CPO
  • Bring a creative and innovative approach to embed strategic solutions at every stage of the talent lifecycle
  • Design, deploy and iterate on the real estate footprint across all locations in the US; scaling opening in-person offices in various locations, as new members of the company are hired
  • Vendor identification and oversight for onsite workplace management resources (onsite security, nutrition, valet, laundry, etc.)
  • Create and measure engagement programs across all VideoAmp locations that embed our core values, mission and vision
  • Own the engagement and culture experience for all Hub-based employees as we scale a regional model across the US
  • Establish community-driven practices to foster a culture of inclusion
  • Partner with talent acquisition (Hire), learning & org development (Ramp), talent advisory (Grow) and workplace leadership (Ops) to create a frictionless experience with the People team
  • Play a leadership role on the team to serve as an ambassador to the VideoAmp values; is hyper creative to instill next-generation experiences
  • Work with virtually every department at the company and support various teams to effectively align culture-building and developmental activities that help the company continue to grow and actively listen through focus groups, surveys and other mechanisms to design needle-moving investments
  • Implement experiences and mechanisms to further company-wide communication and collaboration in both in-person
  • Measure everything that matters in order to use data to inform strategy and holistic experiences
  • Provide superior hospitality to leaders and employees to constantly raise the bar of employee programs and work environment
  • Serve as a trusted member of the People team and ambassador of the organization

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 9+ years of experience leading or work in operations, wellness, employee experience and culture efforts at leading organizations
  • 3+ years of program management experience
  • Individual wellness, career and development coaching experience, a plus
  • Proven experience building DEIB experiences in a collaborative workplace that celebrates differences and attracts people of all backgrounds
  • Passion for holistic wellness to prioritize physical, mental, financial and social development in a thriving environment conducive to people bringing all experiences to life at VideoAmp
  • Experience making data-driven decisions and influencing through data insights and analytics
  • A bonus: Certifications in leading-edge human capital assessment tools, a plus (e.g. Korn Ferry / Lominger, DiSC, Firo-B, Emergenetics, MBTI, CCL and/or NeuroLeadership Institute methodologies, etc.)
  • Proven partnership with both tech and non-tech functional leaders in addition to fostering close collaboration with People team subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • College degree required with a focus in the areas of business, human resources or industrial/organizational design preferred
