AR Analyst II

NextRoll is seeking an experienced AR Analyst II to support its Finance & Accounting team with everyday operations. You’ll be reporting to our A/R Manager. Your primary responsibilities will be to support our high-volume order-to-cash process and assist various members of the team, including management, with ad-hoc reporting, administration, and project management tasks. The ideal candidate will have a track record of Billing and A/R operations experience with increasing responsibility. They should also possess strong communication and systems skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

This role is open in our San Francisco office.

The impact you’ll make:

• Execution of daily operations and internal controls in the Sales Order approval, customer invoicing, and the overall accounts receivable processes
• Maintain the company’s database of client billing information; contact customers as needed for updates to support monthly invoicing procedures.
• Update and act on the repository of nonstandard client requests and custom invoicing
• Respond to customer-related inquiries in Finance’s ZenDesk platform
• Perform ad-hoc accounting related projects on an as-needed basis.
• Execute month-end close cash related items and journal entries (analyze and reconcile bank statements, for example)
• Reconcile billing, credits, and payments and resolve all differences.
• Analyze reports from Salesforce, Zendesk, and NetSuite regarding AR team performance.
• Assist management in determining, communicating, and enforcing company AR policies

Skills you’ll bring:

• Active pursuit or completion of a degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field
• 3 year of accounting or finance experience, including clerkships.
• Comprehensive understanding of order-to-cash processes
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems such as NetSuite, Zendesk and Salesforce (and their respective reporting functions)
• Solid Excel skills are a must (think Pivot Tables, lookups and more!)
• Strong task management and prioritization skills
• Eye for detail and accuracy is imperative.
• Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative.
• SaaS experience is a plus.
