Job Overview

IPONWEB is looking for an experienced professional with a strong track record of managing and growing client relationships through consultative strategies and innovative ideas to join our PBG as a Client Services Director.

The Client Services Director manages a portfolio of accounts representing an average size of $10 million in net regional revenue, and should be experienced in leading teams of both Client Service and Technical Staff on multidisciplinary teams in a matrixed environment. These individuals also have a strong operational acumen in operating their clients business to meet financial and client satisfaction targets.

People who are able to manage their needs and help to make building and evolving complex, real-time media trading solutions simple. You will be successful in this role if you are at the very forefront of expertise in the Ad tech industry, possess well developed leadership and consultative skills; are motivated by working with clients to expand their business opportunities and have a skill for conceptualizing innovative application architecture and translating complex innovation into product requirements

This role is an integral member of the PBG group and will be responsible for all aspects of client growth, relationship development, financial integrity, and quality delivery and execution of all engagements that drive growth and strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly engage with senior level clients across all areas of the business to maintain client satisfaction and business evolution.
  • Effectively manage the client commercial relationship with IPONWEB, focused on client satisfaction and profitability in the delivery of services .
  • Grow client portfolio performance and revenue to meet and exceed regional goals
  • Manage internal team activities to ensure full collaboration and partnership while leveraging the company’s full library of resources to support the business.
  • Continually increase knowledge of the client’s business (and industry) often serving as the client’s first line consultant.
  • Apply consultative approach to develop and execute client account plans and lead direct and team goals to defined outcomes
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop proposal/presentation content and strategy for new business pitches.
  • Effectively “on-board” new client relationships.
  • Work to stay current with industry trends and best practices to proactively sell fit for purpose solutions and innovation.
  • Develop and drive account plans, processes, and strategies that improve results for clients, while growing the account portfolio.
  • Provide leadership and direction to client teams and business unit personnel, ensuring optimal levels of productivity, service, communications, & quality in a matrix environment for assigned clients.
  • Partner with teammates and cross-functional partners to structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives – developing account plans, synthesizing market related data, leading client analysis and defining the overall business approach to IPONWEB’s success
  • Partner with product teams and all cross-functional teams to act as point of contact and deliver collected and consolidated information that prioritizes customer requests
  • Collaborate between departments at IPONWEB to achieve goals
  • Hone in on relevant trends and opportunities in order to craft business cases that support any new requests and/or changes that alter product vision/roadmap
  • Represent IPONWEB at events and thought leadership discussions
  • Driving growth through trusted client relationships, identifying unmet business needs and securing scopes of work ensuring the account is positively contributing to the agency’s revenue growth and profitability.


  • Regional experience and relationships: understand nuances of the region, able to navigate region specific operating models, considerations, policies, etc, and have relationships with buy-side and sell-side to drive performance
  • Unparalleled client relationship skills and business acumen – you must be able to earn Trusted Advisor status with all clients.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a data-driven, technology-enabled performance marketing agency.
  • At least 10 years experience presenting to and working with senior level client contacts.
  • At least 5 years recent experience in growing and managing complex client relationships in an agency environment that may include both online and offline media and channel engagement.
  • Experience working in a matrix environment and managing teams within a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to drive strategies that optimize business outcomes by demonstrating a keen understanding of today’s AdTech and MarTech environments.
