Communications Manager, North America

About the Role..

We are looking for an experienced Communications Manager to join our growing Marketing team and manage PR and Media Relations in North America.

You will be joining us at an exciting time as our company, people and product grow and we expand our technology to serve publishers and advertisers. You will partner closely with our leadership team in the US to ensure that communications align with the goals of the company and build on our voice in that market. You will have the opportunity to directly influence our messaging and approach to PR and media relations in North America.

As Communications Manager, you will spend most of your time...

• Collaborating with the external PR agency, acting as the main point of contact for proactive and reactive communications in North America
• Spearheading PR releases and wider marketing campaigns in North America
• Developing news angles, stories and pitches to build and raise Permutive’s profile, products and people
• Ensuring all communications align with Permutive’s tone of voice and is consistent across all touchpoints

As the team and business evolve, you will also be responsible for...

• Contributing to the communications strategy with our Head of Content & Communications and our Marketing Director for the long-term (year) and short-term (quarter)
• Working with the Head of Content to continuously evolve the communications strategy based on market/company changes, analysing gaps in coverage or share of topic
• Keeping up-to-date on current PR trends and tools, particularly around PR measurement

Our Ideal Candidate Has…

• Significant commercial experience in B2B PR, ideally in technology or advertising
• A good understanding of US trade publications (advertising and technology)
• The ability to identify industry trends and adapt communications accordingly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with senior leadership and cross-­functional partners, and secure buy-in across different stakeholder groups
• The ability to identify communications opportunities that could add value to the business
