Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Cloud (oslo)

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you are responsible for the overall availability, efficiency, performance, and resilience of Tapad’s software systems. You will divide your time between system operations duties and developing software and tools that help increase system reliability and performance. You will collaborate with software engineering teams and similar technologists related to their software deliverable's design, deployment, and continued operations.

We are looking for candidates who meet some of the following qualifications:

• 5 + years in a cloud / DevOps role with scripting/automation experience
• 2+ years in a cloud-based infrastructure role with development and automation experience
• Shell, Python scripting abilities, familiarity with Golang. Knowledge of JVM languages (we use Scala)
• Proven track record of establishing and applying SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs to increase system reliability and quality
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git, Docker, and Jenkins
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and metrics in a highly dynamic and scaled environments
• Passionate about SRE and DevOps best practices and cultivating reliable, sustainable, and scalable environments
• You’re passionate enough about technology that you can be an ambassador
• You’re an eager collaborator who wants to lead from within and be part of a team

Bonus Experience:

• Exposure to GCP ecosystem
• Knowledge of JVM languages such as Scala, Java, Kotlin
