Job Overview

You’ll join our lifecycle marketing team — responsible for driving engagement, creating product awareness, and enabling growth for direct-to-consumer brands. The copy you write, the communication you deploy, and the projects you manage will assist these brands on their growth journey.

As part of your work on the lifecycle marketing team, you will develop triggered customer communications representative of important landmarks. These communications will prompt deeper engagement with our business, making AdRoll an indispensable part of customer success.

Finally, as a lifecycle marketing manager, you will be responsible for capturing insights regarding the needs of the customer and the effectiveness of our marketing communication. Identifying these opportunities will create a roadmap for delivering increased product awareness, education and value.

This role is open in our San Francisco, New York, Salt Lake City offices, or remote.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Manage email campaigns end-to-end, including ideation, writing, targeting, sending, and measuring the results of messages.
  • Improve and consolidate existing email campaigns to prevent inbox overload and to maintain high rates of deliverability
  • Ensure emails follow brand guidelines, industry policies, and privacy laws
  • Build email designs that are responsive and render properly on mobile and through all of the major web browsers
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams

Skills you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in a marketing related field
  • 2+ years experience in email marketing
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
  • Track record of executing high-quality email campaigns with great frequency
  • Experience with user research, customer survey writing, and root cause analysis
  • Proficient with Excel, HTML, CSS, and Marketo (or similar ESP)
