In keeping with the continued growth and maturity of our business, IPONWEB seeks an experienced commercial leader to represent TheMediaGrid platform and develop commercial agreements with appropriate media owners, publishers, networks etc. The right candidate will be a robust player / coach and will own outreach efforts with prospects / new clients with the objective of scaling the global supply-side business. Serving as the commercial point of contact for Publishers in the assigned region(s), this role is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new engagements, as well as managing a team of Sales and CS professionals. The role is that of a Manager but with the expectation of individual contribution as well.

This role will deeply leverage a proven combination of industry networking, solution, and commercial expertise to ensure the delivery of high-performing, deeply integrated solutions that meet and exceed a client’s goals and expectations. Whereas primary focus will be on sales, this is a senior commercial role that will include management responsibilities of a small team across Sales and CS professionals.

The role will require collaboration across internal teams across different business units and functions such as Operations, Activation, Agency teams etc.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Commercial leader targeting new publishing partners as well as leveraging existing relationships to maximize meaningful revenues with TheMediaGrid.
  • Work closely with the global performance advertising teams to coordinate revenue opportunities and grow available supply across TheMediaGrid platform.
  • Proactively identify opportunities, responding to requests and come up with creative solutions to optimize revenue.
  • Utilize strong relationships within the industry to drive new business efforts.
  • Build, manage and grow a commercial team even as you set a personal example of being a robust seller.
  • Provide input on market requirements for new products and product innovation
  • Represent IPONWEB at relevant industry summits and networking events to develop/mature pipeline
  • Reinforce IPONWEB’s brand positioning and reputation through market facing thought leadership, speaking engagements, and trade pieces.

Skills & Experience:

  • 10-15+ years of professional experience selling platform solutions in the Advertising Technology space.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience working with Programmatic Advertising Technologies (Ad Exchanges, Deal IDs, RTB, DSPs, DMPs, SSPs, etc.) with experience selling solutions to major Publishers.
  • Experience leading and coordinating with internal/external stakeholders throughout the client acquisition life cycle, including: qualification, solution development, proposal and pricing, negotiations, contacting and integration.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative background with experience developing winning solution strategies and supporting business cases
  • Extensive exposure to the advertising industry, online media trading, advertising technology solutions, and ad network business models, together with industry relationships commensurate with the seniority of this position.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills who can convert our capabilities into clear, concise and compelling benefits for prospective customers
  • Self-starter with ability to produce under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrable passion for learning new technologies
