Job Overview

We’re looking for a Director, Business Development to join our Strategic Partnerships team. This is a high impact role that will source and drive a pipeline of deals with the largest programmatic, identity, and data companies in advertising technology. This person will report directly to our Head of Partnerships. This role will work very closely with our Product team during the partner sale and interact cross-functionally with the Product Marketing, Publisher Sales, Advertiser Sales, Customer Success, Partner Success, and Legal teams through the close of a deal.

The Strategic Partnerships team is responsible for the Go to Market execution and delivery of partnerships that realize the company’s ecosystem strategy. With recent new product advancements, a fast-growing industry need for an infrastructure that only Permutive is positioned to deliver, and new financing and resource availability, the opportunity for strategic business development at Permutive has never been greater.

What you'll be doing...

  • Executing deals that integrate Permutive across the Ad Tech ecosystem for mutual strategic benefit, and the benefit of our publisher and advertiser clients
  • Sourcing opportunities with net-new logos directly, via the Partner Success team, & existing logos
  • Creatively aligning Permutive principles, goals, and infrastructure with the needs of Identity, Data, DSP, SSP, CDP, and Clean Room platforms and providers
  • Working closely with Head of Partnerships to deliver the Permutive position and worldview to partner prospects
  • Driving opportunities end-to-end from qualification through to close and operational hand-off
  • Supporting calls from Partner Success to execute deals with existing partners that maximize partner revenue and other strategic opportunity
  • Partnering closely with internal stakeholders to shape Permutive solutions and engagements
  • Continually identifying and surfacing new product opportunities to the Product team
  • Constantly growing your already extensive network

What you’ll need...

  • Significant commercial experience building pipeline and closing partnerships
  • Commercial experience initiating and managing large scale, complex deals
  • Knowledge of the Ad Tech ecosystem from a commercial and technical perspective
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally and function with relative independence in assembling deals through close
  • Significant experience building and maintaining relationships with partners within the AdTech industry
  • Regularly keeping up to date on industry trends, particularly as it pertains to post-cookie ecosystem dynamics
