MiQ is looking for an Agency Partner within the Hamburg market to join the Germany Sales Team. The successful candidate will be a highly-driven, self-motivated individual with good sales and interpersonal skills that is success-orientated and passionate about the programmatic and digital industry.

This role will support and grow agency revenue in Germany. The successful candidate will be required to work with the team to create and deliver agency level strategy, which centers around our media and custom solutions offering. With a problem-solving mindset and a love for solving challenges, you will enjoy owning the end-to-end commercial delivery of solutions.

Success will require ability to offer seamlessly connected thinking and proposals, which cover media and drive an custom solutions agenda. You will be equally comfortable presenting a complicated solution to all seniority levels. You will be required to forecast and deliver numbers and feed into the strategic accounts initiative across your agency group.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your main responsibilities will include:

Delivering Numbers

  • Consistently achieve personal sales targets and delivering revenue/profit numbers for your group to the Head of International Sales.
  • Management and responsibility of pipeline and accurate forecasting across the entirety of the sales process.

Planning and Organisation

  • Create, lead and implement a strategy for your group at agency and client level in collaboration with the team
  • Establish clear project scope, understanding the brief/solution requirements and managing key milestones to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Support with trading reviews and other initiatives with heads of departments within your group.

Communication

  • Develop, maintain and manage relationships within the International/Global teams within advertising agencies and clients through a strong and constructive relationship built on trust.
  • Work closely with the Solutions and Global Sales teams, to assist and support agency & client opportunities through client identification.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other departments within the business – Account Management, Trading, Data Science, Product and Solutions.

Persuading and Influencing

  • Own the relationships with agency International teams across all levels
  • Use excellent communication skills to build award-winning solutions and presentations, which impact business choices and answer business challenges.

Product knowledge

  • Through proactive planning and collaboration, construct a simplified but engaging narrative via great storytelling, technical explanation and proposal articulation.
  • Proactively uncover and identify business wide or media issues, which can be addressed or solved via the MiQ Media and Analytics suite of solutions.
  • Curate, innovate and articulate an end-to-end media and analytics solution from briefing stage to effective delivery.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Digital experience working and selling programmatic/digital solutions
  • Vast and diversified network of contacts you can tap into straight away.
  • Experienced in proactively identifying sales opportunities and appropriate go to market sales strategy
  • Experience guiding client briefs and applicable products on a pan multi-national basis (understanding of nuances between markets is key!)
  • Experience collaborating within an agency or media owner at a senior level
  • Programmatic/analytics led solutions experience would be preferable, but not essential.
  • Proven experience of consistently delivering revenue targets
  • Track record in delivering new business winning proposals through agency engagement.
  • Experience in presenting programmatic solutions to middle and senior agency personnel.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Very familiar with the Digital Ecosystem and knowledge of Ad Tech, Competitors, Agency Set up and Products/Platforms associated to Programmatic.
  • Precise and market-leading presentation skills are paramount to this role.
  • Experience in building narratives, developing into exciting story-telling and clear proposals.
  • Natural flair and desire to build relationships at all levels externally
  • Strategic thinking around media diversification across new target accounts.
  • The ability to Interpret and analyse statistical data to maximise selling opportunities, monitor competitive activity and provide regular progress reports
  • Professional, focused and inquisitive attitude, able to question internally and externally.
  • Hunger & desire to scale and grow, both as a person and as a team our SOV across your agency group.
