QA engineer (Mid-Senior)

As a QA Engineer, along with other team members and the Domain Architect, you will be responsible for developing the back-end part of the Adform advertising platform with a big focus on quality and scalability.
Quality Assurance Engineer oversees, contributes, and accounts for the quality of the development team’s product. In addition to undertaking some of the QA tasks personally, Quality Assurance Engineer ensures that the project meets high-quality requirements, coordinates testing activities across multiple products and teams.
You will join the Adform Octopus team which is responsible for platform backend development and will be a vital part of the software development efforts in Vilnius. You will be working in a cross-functional, agile team, with great engineers, product managers, and leaders located in multiple locations.

Your responsibilities

• Help the team deliver new features with excellent quality
• Define test plans, test criteria and test cases required to validate functionality
• Build and run manual/automated tests
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing function within the team
• Follow the existing team practices within various technical and process-related areas
• Keep up to date by exploring best practices, new technologies, tools, methodology and frameworks
• Proactively identify and report risks about the product/data quality.

We expect you have

• 2+ years of experience in back-end testing
• Exceptional attention to details
• Client and business-oriented mindset
• Good verbal and written English
• Understanding of HTTP and REST APIs
• Understanding of C# programming language and .NET framework
• Basic understanding of tools like Postman, Git, Jira, Swagger
• Basic understanding of CI/CD process
• Basic GraphQL knowledge
• Basic understanding of the databases
