This role will be crucial in realizing the ambitious strategy and roadmap for the MiQ Centre of Excellence. Reporting to the Leader of L&D, this person will be responsible for the end-to-end L&D activities across the Business Units and organization.

He/She/They will represent our commitment to our peoples’ development and lives the values of curiosity and continuous development. This person should be solutions-oriented, driven by a desire to support the growth of people, and ambitious, always looking to push the envelope.

They should possess core coaching capabilities, know how to ask probing questions, provide support, and remain objective. Know when to ask for support from more senior members of the talent team as needed.

At the macro level, the Senior Executive - L&D will be focussed on understanding the organization strategy and its future capability needs in order to identify learning priorities across the organization. On an individual level, it’s about creating learning environments and implementing the set strategy where employees can continuously develop to be their best.



  • Partner with Talent Leads and Business to deliver on the L&D Strategy and Insight creation
  • Plan, design, and implement with in-house subject matter experts and/or external vendors, integrated solutions which include a blended approach to learning (e.g. online webinars, classroom, action learning, short-term assignments, and overseas exposure)
  • Act as internal consultant in sourcing, organising, monitoring, and evaluating internal and external L&D interventions
  • Maintain accurate records and dashboards of learning initiatives, evaluation, and employee learning history. Provide relevant insights basis the outcome
  • Co-ordinate with external partners on matters relating to corporate membership, training, and management of all L&D related benefits and policies
  • Support the team in any other ad hoc projects and initiatives
  • Bring together human and technology elements of development to deliver development opportunities.
  • Create an environment of learning for the business that suits the needs and interests of the employees in a hybrid environment

Design and Content Development

  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer (handouts, slides, takeaways, resources, manager coaching documents) for consumption by new age learners
  • Design of engaging learning material using visual design technology (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
  • Able to rapidly prototype new content modules and materials (i.e., 1-2 weeks, depending on topic)
  • Quickly integrates updates and new learnings into existing content
  • Drive utilisation of the LMS by hosting content and tracking usage
  • Integrates stories and other methods to personalize content for the audience, driving deeper learning


  • Independently deliver content to excite and engage the audience in a virtual/physical environment for ICs and New Joiners
  • Manage all exercises within training, observe the room and provide feedback
  • Conduct FGDs and share takeaways with learners/team to share
  • Monitor how effectively Learning has transferred/ embedded
  • Able to conduct rapid audience analysis and adjust style/content in real-time to have the most impact

Evaluation and Effectiveness

  • Gathers and evaluates outcome data to analyze program/content performance
  • Partnering with Talent lead, establishes metrics to measure the success of content
  • Views success through the lens of business goals - does the learning help employees be more effective, enabling the business to achieve its objectives and maintain its competitive advantage
  • Identifies points for improvement, developing solutions and strategies for future iterations
  • When using external partners, provides objective feedback regarding quality and effectiveness of content

Project Management

  • Smooth and flawless delivery of all L&D activities
  • Manage training expenses, aligning with approved budgets
  • Set timelines and manage expectations with stakeholders
  • Coordinates resources/support to ensure on-time delivery of content/programs
  • Manages training vendor relationships, including conducting initial research and scoping for outside training vendors

  • Is familiar with content creation in a virtual classroom (elearning) and comfortable using technology
  • At least 6-8 years of prior experience in a learning and development role, including responsibility for creation and delivery of learning content
