Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Director Retail Media Advertising on Criteo’s Retail Media business team. The ideal candidate is above all a great manager and should have deep knowledge of both advertising technology and the retail landscape.

This is a critical and challenging leadership role will be directly reporting to the Regional Managing Director EMEA.

Leading a +30 team of Account Strategists and Sales roles, you will be accountable for the success of all revenue streams for Retail Media, and will be the face of Criteo both internally and externally for all French Retail Media events.

Supported by the Head of Sales, you will be working at the highest level with clients (top eComm brands), prospects and agencies to evangelize and drive Criteo’s positioning, revenue, and multiproduct strategy. You will be responsible for implementing structure, sales & account management rigor, as well as business processes excellence, ensuring the delivery of results and maximizing profitability, ROI, and client satisfaction.

What will you do?

  • Manage resources, including attracting, hiring and retaining employees.

  • Create and report on business plans, monitoring its efficacy and progress : ensure that revenue/sales targets are met

  • Steer employees in the same strategic direction to deliver the vision.

  • Research & implement new initiatives to drive revenue, lower operating costs while maintain quality products, and deliver excellent customer support.

  • Manage and report on the effective implementation of a marketing strategy to maintain market relevancy and promote products & services to increase sales : Work with partner with marketing to develop strategy and case studies of successful campaigns to showcase customers

  • Ensure wellbeing of teams to create a diverse & positive working environment.

  • Provide vision, motivation, and inspiration to the team – enabling them to develop, grow and meet commercial objectives

  • Represent Criteo at industry events & conferences, and develop external network profile to be known as industry & digital expert

  • Build and maintain C-level relationships with Criteo’s largest customers and relevant agency contacts

  • Maintain extensive product knowledge by developing internal relationships across all product and client service teams

  • Set the strategy and vision for the country, and manage feedback loop to influence the development of product and new solutions

  • Collaborate closely with the relevant internal stakeholders / partners – including Senior Director for HR EMEA, Finance, Sales Operations, Marketing, Legal, EMEA, Global

What do we need from you?

  • Functional :

Experience in management of senior staff, employees and available resources.

Excellent Leadership, communication and organizational skills

Excellent analytical with a strategic mind set and a data-driven approach with problem-solving skills.

You demonstrate ability to manage operations and adapt processes within time and budgets

  • Domain:

You will ideally have substantial advertising or marketing technology experience and, as a minimum, a very solid understanding of digital advertising and retailer landscape

You have proven your capability to achieve company growth projections and targets in a dynamic and competitive environment.

  • Cultural:

Experience of working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial and global environment; emotional intelligence.

High integrity and strong interpersonal skills
