Retail Media,  the placement of brand-sponsored advertising within retailer e-commerce sites and apps, is growing rapidly as shopping increasingly moves towards e-commerce. Overview of the role

As Director Retail & Partnerships, for Criteo Retail Media France, you will have the ownership and accountability for successfully driving the net revenue for Criteo Retail Media, by leading a team of 15 Account Strategists and Retail Success Managers, and by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams internally.

Reporting to our Regional Managing Director EMEA Retail & Partnership, you will own the largest EMEA market and therefore be the most instrumental contributor to reaching our double-digit growth objective in Europe, together with your European counterparts. Growing is easy, maintaining growth is the challenge.

In order to achieve success, you will nurture and grow the relationships and partnerships at the highest level with 15+ major French retail partners such as Carrefour, Auchan, Leclerc, Fnac-Darty, Boulanger, La Redoute.

Because you are an industry expert in retail media, your extensive online and commerce knowledge, as well as AdTech and MarTech, will allow you to understand your clients’ needs and feed product development initiatives.

You will also actively prospect new clients by using your existing network of relations, and empower them to build, sometimes from the ground up, their Retail Media business.

You will be the “face of France” on the external scene and contribute to Criteo’s Retail Media awareness in the country by participating in events, building and executing a strong marketing and communication plan together with our dedicated teams.

What will you do?

  • Be an inclusive, respected and caring leader and manager for your team, and a trustworthy business partner for your clients

  • Build and maintain C-level relationships with your clients and other relevant stakeholders of the industry

  • Over achieve net revenue targets by growing and upselling existing clients and by using your network to win new clients

  • Negotiate sometimes complex multi-year deals, ensuring Criteo’s profitability

  • Drive a positive and strong will do attitude across your team, by setting and executing a clear vision and strategy to achieve your goals

  • Closely collaborate with the Advertising Team, by communicating extensively and ensuring the stability of our inventories across our portfolio or retailers

  • Understand your clients’ needs and voice them to our technical and product teams

  • Work with the Marketing team to execute the plan and increase Criteo’s awareness in France

  • Identify flaws, risks, threats and deploy cross-functional workstreams to increase efficiency

  • Always stay up-to-date on product features, positioning, go-to-market strategy by collaborating with our Product, Product Marketing and Solutions Architect Teams

  • Excellent leadership and role model skills with an ability to drive and manage a large team

  • Deep knowledge of Retail, E-Commerce and Advertising Technology
