The Amobee Chief of Staff coordinates and manages the essential activities of a business to inform and support the creation and execution of the company’s strategic plans while ensuring all business functions are efficient and productive. A strategic thinker and tactical planner, the COS is a senior member, and agent of, the Senior Leadership Team.
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with all C-level and SVP executives, COS is tasked with coordinating, assembling and relaying updates from senior leaders to create velocity and capacity while improving the organization’s internal functions and processes.
The COS is expected to proactively collect and synthesize information, and prioritize critical issues, to facilitate efficient executive decision making. Additionally, the COS is expected to provide oversight and guidance to projects of high importance while also acting as a point of contact or gatekeeper between top management and other stakeholders.
The COS’s comprehensive knowledge of the ad tech industry, coupled with their strong financial modeling and storytelling skills, should be used to provide Executive counsel as well as craft presentations that weave a narrative that is consistent with organization strategy and inspires confidence in our strategy.The Chief of Staff must be a creative and results driven thinker, an excellent problem solver and possess incredible interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and act as the central contact for all business communications. Specific responsibilities fall into three broad categories:Organizational Strategy: Input and influence of the organization’s strategy, while evangelizing and operationalizing across the broader global employee base.Operational Excellence: Plans and supports administrative, financial, operational and reporting activities of the organization’s CEO, COO and/or other executives – up to Singtel, cascade to lower levels or laterally across the global organization.Strategic Initiatives: Leading the planning, coordination and status updates of strategic initiatives, attending to the minute details yet staying attuned to the macro vision – all while orchestrating Executive involvement for effective decision making.
Top PrioritiesExecutive Reporting – Owns the regular Executive reporting calendar, helping draft presentations and prepare C-Suite for weekly, monthly, quarterly status and yearly AOP planning activities – internally and externally.Active Communication – Promotes communication and actively liaising between executives and senior leaders to ensure team and individual objectives and expectations are aligned with the overall business goals.Executive Counsel – Is an objective advisor to the C-Suite on organizational decisions.Strategy Development – Support the drafting and development of Corporate and Business strategy for quarterly and annual cycles.Strategic Projects – Ad hoc support of strategic projects deemed critical by the CEO.Project Management – Support key strategic and operational initiatives with exec level project management.
Required Qualifications5+ years of experience working in Investment Banking/M&A and/or Management Consulting environment(s), preferably with direct client experience (in due diligence capacity for buy / sell-side M&A activity) OR 3+ years of experience working in M&A and/or Management consulting, paired with 2-3 years of experience working in Corporate Development or Strategy at an operating companyExperience delivering high-stakes strategic recommendations to Senior Executive audiencesBasic competencies utilizing Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint) is important, as COS is integral to visualizing strategic, operational and financial reporting metrics in compelling waysEntrepreneurial mindset, proactive team player with a roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic, who is resourceful, action-oriented, and results driven. Desired QualificationsExperience in Tech, Media, Telecom (TMT) related fields is preferred, but not required if the candidate has sufficient business acumen. Industry background in Adtech/Martech is ‘nice to have’ but not necessary to be a great COS candidate.
