Job Overview

This position is aligning the technology department with the business goals of the company. The focus is on managing the Technology department staffing, coordination between the technology team, product team, and commercial teams with the objectives of product profitability growth, strategic planning, product delivery, and increasing efficiency and communication across company functions and within the technology organization. Additionally, this position is focused on the alignment of technology department processes to business goals and reporting the productivity metrics to all other departments company wide.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations staff leaders to align the technology team to the business goals through its processes, procedures, KPIs, and program management
  • Define a prioritized hiring plan while working with Technology leadership
  • Direct and coordinate global Development, Program Management, and Tech Ops teams
  • Co-manage team strategy and OKRs with Product and Commercial counterparts, while driving success against the strategy and OKRs
  • Technology team budget and primary interface with Finance partners and Human Resource Business Partner to ensure that we adhere to annual operating budget and commitments
  • Map products and architectures across the various Amobee-owned platforms, accumulated by acquisitions and drive consolidation, deprecation, or elimination.
  • Define and implement a Product Development Prioritization process (discovery and delivery) that will enable product and engineering teams to develop quarterly plans
  • Program manage the Quarterly Roadmap Review process, including setting up a company-wide Quarterly review with participation from Commercial, Operations, and Product.
  • Foster a culture of working as one, global, cross-functional team. Maintain regular communication with counterparts in the other departments to keep all aligned within the Technology org and across the other company functions (i.e., Product, Commercial, Finance, etc.)
  • Establish a cost and profit analysis capability within the technology team (Business Intelligence) to assess investment and operational costs against product usage and revenue.
  • Lead key cross functional mission critical initiatives
  • Process creation and management: Identify opportunities for business process improvement and facilitate the successful implementation of the company’s objectives.
  • Ensure accountability mechanisms are in place.
  • Fosters an organization of continuous process improvement
  • Collaborate with Operations leads and leaders of other functions with an emphasis on alignment between Technology Management and the respective function. (e.g., between Product and Commercial)
  • Drive cascading from Company level to Engineering Leadership level
  • Facilitate key ceremonies for the technology leadership teams, e.g., Offsites with a clearly defined agenda and objectives. Planning events with product, or requirements and roadmap lock-in events with Commercial
  • Lead delivery and execution of Amobee’s products, including operational review cadence by business line.
  • Track and follow up on Staff priorities to ensure that deadlines are met, this includes weekly staff meetings action itemsTrack and distribute Technology productivity metrics such as intra quarter development pacing.
  • Collaborate with critical functions to define a cost efficiency process that will enable finance to track development and tech ops costs for each product line

  • Required Qualifications

  • Significant and successful experience leading engineering or product teams in the US and Israel.
  • Bilingual strongly preferred.
  • This position requires someone who has earned trust and respect in both cultures.
  • Willing to relocate to the US and to work some US hours during the immigration application period.
  • 8+ years of experience building and launching products in the Ad Tech industry including leading technology teams
  • Demonstrated experience using real-world data and analytics to drive both product and team improvements and success
  • Deep and broad knowledge of the Ad Tech industry, including programmatic trading (aka RTB), attribution, ad serving, privacy compliance, etc.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Computer Information Systems or equivalent experienceHas people management experience in building and leading teams of at least 10 team members
  • Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Has experience in a Chief of Staff level role or a Product Management role or a program office role with experience in managing a complex development pipeline
  • Experience with organizational change management and transformation.
