VP Business Development – Data Marketplace

Job Overview

As a Vice President of Business Development Data Marketplace you will lead Amobee’s global data marketplace to drive game-changing revenue growth. The charter for this executive will be to lead a high performing team and source, grow and manage revenue-generating partnerships with strategic data companies in advertising technology.
The desired candidate has an impressive track record of identifying, leading and closing successful partnership deals, managing and inspiring strong performing teams, and contributing to and collaborating on growth initiatives that drive strategic value, innovation and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Design strategy, negotiate and execute data partnerships that support Amobee’s vision and goals in close collaboration with product leadership.
  • Identify, vet and prioritize new business opportunities with partners or prospective partners and architect deal structures based on their potential impact.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team that contributes material revenue and strategic value for Amobee.
  • Work cross-functionally in an agile manner with an openness to experiment and iterate to encourage innovation.
  • Collaborate and evangelize across the organization to drive the adoption of ecosystem-related data offerings in-market.
  • Clearly demonstrate the strategic value of potential partnerships to key functional areas ensuring alignment.
  • Collaborate and drive data ecosystem concepts and initiatives that move from early stage development past proof of concept to tangible revenue and/or strategic outcomes.
  • Keep a pulse on the industry trends and collaborate to define and shape market-leading partnerships and initiatives.
  • Create and maintain a culture characterized by a high level of performance and productivity.
  • Develop and oversee financial operating and strategic plans for business development.

  • Requirements

  • BA/BS and 12 years of experience focused on business development and strategic partnerships.
  • Demonstrated experience in audience or contextual data and advertising technology related fields.
  • A successful track record of developing, negotiating and signing industry-leading deals with a wealth of creative partnership structures.
  • Ability to work with and understand complex advertising and marketing landscape, and drive deep relationships with stakeholders to deliver results.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage, coach, and develop others.
  • Analytical, smart, strategic and data-driven with a competitive drive to win in the market.
  • Adept at leading large scale initiatives. Ability to gain trust and build relationships.
  • Strong internal and external communicator.
  • Entrepreneurial and efficient.
  • Customer centric; ability to translate problem statements into requirements.
  • Eager to lead a high-performing team while influencing across the business.
