Our Revenue teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop cross-screen solutions that optimize marketing investment to real business outcomes. We advise clients on VideoAmp’s broad range of products across planning, buying and measurement to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

We are VideoAmp’s Sales Strategy team, a passionate team of creative and technology advocates with backgrounds in sales strategy, ad tech, media partnerships, and media planning/buying. We partner with VideoAmp’s most strategic clients, addressing challenges and opportunities with innovative VideoAmp products, platforms, and solutions. Our team expands the boundaries on partner innovation, fostering a culture of prototyping and early-mover manifestations of VideoAmp’s capabilities mapped to our customers’ business and marketing needs. As Sr. Director of Strategy, you will be the business and customer voice maximizing impact.

Your knowledge of the online video and linear television space combined with your business acumen, communication skills and analytical abilities will shape how media providers and brands transact for the future..

Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide the highest calibre client service, research and market analysis.

You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of VideoAmp’s key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach users across all screens.

In this role, you will demonstrate a commercial mind, creative problem-solving, and excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills. You will drive the team’s strategic agenda, delivering a high impact service and delivery model across the Revenue Organization. As Sr. Director of Strategy, you will bridge the gap between product and sales, effectively communicating with internal teams to provide advertiser solutions to drive revenue growth of the company.


  • Translate client’s marketing objectives into world-class proposal materials, clearly communicating client goals to internal stakeholders, helping to shape product developments and external partnerships, while also managing client expectations.
  • Draft legal contracts clearly defining services, fees, and other deal terms for legal review.
  • Represent the Strategy team in external and client meetings, displaying a deep knowledge of VideoAmp’s current products, roadmap, and pricing strategy.
  • Create pricing policies that maximize company achievement against KPIs as part of the GTM process, and maintain internal Rate Cards that summarize our pricing strategy.
  • Develop clear strategies to maximize engagement and deliver value to a list of key accounts/verticals.
  • Deliver follow-up items to client meetings, including but not limited to partnership proposals, contracts, case studies, and POVs.
  • Attend industry events to advocate on behalf of the brand and keep a pulse of the competitive landscape and general industry trends.
  • Understand market trends and competitive landscape in order to generate compelling proposals for agencies, brands, and publishers and close deals as quickly as possible.
  • Build trust and be a leader cross-functionally within the organization.
  • Ownership of pre-alpha product demand to integrate into business development and product roadmap where necessary. Track success rate of new GTM releases.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be passionate about cross-channel media planning and buying and have a clear understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Be extremely organized and able to manage time effectively while balancing multiple deliverables.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and be able to manage relationships internally and externally across a wide range of personalities.
  • Regularly attend client meetings with sellers to provide consultation on how VideoAmp products can help achieve client objectives.
  • Package highly-detailed and compelling deliverables as follow-ups to aforementioned client meetings, specifically proposal decks, pricing sheets, and drafting contracts.
  • Be an effective storyteller to convey to clients the value of VideoAmp’s products and assist in closing deals and empowering the Revenue team to successfully sell against the VideoAmp product suite.
  • Take an analytical approach to tracking client feedback to bubble up common themes to Sales, Marketing, Product and Engineering teams quickly to stay ahead of market trends.
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit, be resourceful, and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with internal and external counterparts.
