After Covid, our events roadmap is restarting and we’re planning to deliver in-person events, on top of our regular online events in 2022. The role would be focused on three areas: talent acquisition events management (R&D international conferences, campus program, Criteo own conferences, meet-ups…), full support for major internal events (annual summit, hackathon, end-of-year parties…), and assistance for major EMEA marketing events (tradeshows and other industry events).
We are looking for an energetic and organised Events Manager to work alongside our Events team (reporting to the Director of Internal Communications, Events and CSR) to make these events run like clockwork, create and deliver an annual events calendar that supports our business, our recruitment needs and ensures full engagement with our employees, and someone who can drive innovation so that we continue to improve every year. You will be responsible for ensuring great ROI, increased employee engagement and that we use new technology to our advantage.
Create an annual events roadmap that answers Talent Acquisition needs, particularly for R&D teams, and manage Criteo’s presence to those events. Manage all stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure great brand awareness and a smooth experience for attendees
Coordinate our annual internal hackathon to ensure maximum attendance and engagement
Work with a team from across Criteo and with the full Events team, manage the logistics and production for the annual global summit event; an event where all employees from around the world come together for 3 days to celebrate all things Criteo (this format can change each year)
Support internal initiatives and events that encourage networking and team building and create team cultures with advice and recommendations
Look at alternative tools to improve our costs, engagement, streamline our systems, etc.
Measure and report on our ROI (KPIs to be agreed)
Who you are:
Proven track record of delivering large international events (3 years minimum experience in events management)
Understanding of internal events, what makes them engaging, how to increase attendance and deliver better experience
Fantastic organizational skills – this is going to get busy at times – and you’ll work with an extensive number of stakeholders
Fabulous interpersonal skills (persuasion, negotiation, empathy)
Great writing skills (English proficient/native. French a plus) - you’ll need to send invites, reminders, think creatively about advertising and help develop our brand to future and current employees, and to clients.
Self-starter who is committed to the job and drives empowerment and accountability
Fantastic team player who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty
Willing to travel occasionally for work
