Job Overview

The Project Manager is a key member of the business, supporting the Business Operations function at Finecast.

The role will support the UK business, working closely with all teams, supporting the Senior Business Operations Manager and Head of Business Operations.

The scope of the role is wide touching on not only management of BAU projects but also supporting business change initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Requirement gathering, project planning and management of different business initiatives, ensuring internal alignment and deadlines are met
  • Support the Senior Bus Ops Manager on major business change projects, setting milestones projects / programs according to the strategic objectives of the organisation
  • Monitor and report on project performance
  • Support the project team through action and problem solving to ensure delivery is completed
  • Support the development of new processes to drive efficiency
  • Apply change, risk and resource management principles when needed
  • Ensure project operations comply with internal policies and any other internal requirements
  • Analyze and document business best practices

    Support the management of Business Operations KPIs and OKRs
  • Work with different business departments to help define and shape team structure, processes and team identity and culture
  • Comfortable using and adopting new technologies (Microsoft packages, Jira, Miro, SmartSheet)

The candidate

You will have a proven track record of consulting and programme management / project work, preferably with a focus in the media and / or technology sectors.

You will have an interest the media industry and business change and be able to demonstrate that at interview, as well as an understanding of different Project management methodologies.

The successful candidate must have a track record working with peers and stakeholders of different seniority levels and an inquisitive and proactive approach to day to day.

You will apply your skills and knowledge in a tech environment, for example supporting the roll-out of new systems integration and shaping new processes.
