As we continue to grow at an accelerated pace the Global Learning and Development team is expanding and looking for a Project Manager. Reporting into the Global VP for L&D this position will be an essential stakeholder for MiQ teams across the business. Operating as the “go to” for the Global L&D operations, special projects, and support with strategic planning, the Project Manager will be vital to the success of MiQ’s Learning and Development initiatives.

As a Project Manager you will be the operational backbone for the Global L&D team. Key responsibilities will include but are not be limited to:

Project Management

  • Coordinate effective induction and orientation sessions for new hires, this includes being responsible for:
    • Ensuring each session has multiple designated Subject Matter Experts or SMEs.
    • Those designated SMEs are trained in how to train by one of our trainers.
    • Where needed, ensure new starters undergo refresher and/ or specific follow up onboarding sessions based on manager feedback and test results.
    • At times, support calendar scheduling, while ensuring appropriate technology is set up for onboarding (stepping in for admin).
  • Using project management programmes and platforms. Ensuring the migration away from Email and Excel
  • Provide support for L&D resources in each market.

Blueprints and content

  • Create a blueprint outlining the chronological order of topics and sessions in how we onboard people for Junior, Mid and Senior level roles.
  • Accountable for ensuring the hard and soft copy learning materials for all onboarding sessions are created and updated. This includes pre reads, critical content learnings and tests.

Strategic planning & influence

  • Team player with an outstanding ability to be autonomous and productive
  • Exhibit a curious mindset that goes above and beyond to find solutions that enhance our onboarding process, this includes:
    • Conducting needs analysis pertaining to onboarding and product training requirements.
    • Creating and revising a consistent, fit for purpose measurement framework to ascertain what is working and what can be improved.
    • Communication, persuading and influencing stakeholders at all levels to participate and support in both the delivery and measurement of onboarding.

Manage and Develop

  • Ensure reports are set with clear objectives of what needs to be achieved along with key results of what success looks like.
  • Consistently assess the quality of reports deliverables against the objectives and what success looks like, while providing feedback on the quality of work, including recognition and improvement opportunities.
  • Determine reports strengths and areas of improvement including future career steps.


  • 3-5 years advertising industry experience
  • Project Management Certification; PMP, CAPM, or equivalent
  • Successful project management of multiple global projects, programs, and initiatives


  • Experienced use of JIRA, TRELLO, Excel, and Confluence
  • Excellent manager of people with presentation skills
  • Displayed continuing education in project management
  • Alignment with MiQ's core values
