With that, we are seeking a full-time People Operations Coordinator to join our People Programs team that is looking to build their broad People Operations expertise! Our team creates and implements programs that enhance the employee experience at NextRoll. Playing a key role throughout the employee lifecycle from on-boarding to developing and off-boarding, the People Programs team delivers on operational excellence and surfacing data-driven insights. You will be at the forefront of supporting employees through their employee lifecycle and the backbone of the People Programs team. This role is open in our San Francisco office.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Work closely with IT, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Workplace Experience to kick off the employee life cycle with a smooth onboarding experience
  • Send and review new hire documentation
  • Ensure background check and I-9 compliance, including E-verify process
  • Enter and maintain employee data across HR systems including new hires, terminations, organization structure changes, job changes, and compensation changes
  • Create and prepare transfer documents to notify applicable teams
  • Partner closely with PBPs to administer employee and organizational changes
  • Audit and ensure data integrity across all HR systems
  • Respond to internal alias and employee questions about PTO accruals, address changes, etc.
  • Respond to employment verification requests
  • Work closely with Payroll to pay employees correct salaries and referral bonuses
  • Support employees as they exit the organization by notifying offboard alias and sending offboard packets
  • Support and provide information to employees on basic HR questions and processes
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Manage employee files

Skills you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of relevant HR experience or similar support role
  • Ability to be discreet and keep information confidential
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Nothing gets past you and your strong attention to detail, follow-through, resourcefulness, and being able to prioritize tasks
  • You’re invigorated by administrative work and looking for ways to increase efficiency
  • Context-switching doesn’t slow you down
